The Ad Hoc Commission on Revenue Efficiency (CORE) was established by the City Council in February 2010 and consists of seven members who are experienced in the fields of revenue collections and revenue enhancements. The mission of CORE is to evaluate and recommend improvements in the following areas: revenue collections, tax compliance, accounts receivable collections, new revenues, centralized billing, implementation of the City Controller's audit of collection practices, and other revenue-related studies.

The Commission concluded in October 2011
